This weekend marks one of the biggest events of the year – National Team Trials. For me, this is the qualifying event for Junior Worlds, Olympic Hopes Regatta, and carding. This is the event that I have been building up to all year. 

On Friday, I will race my K1 1000m heat, semi and final. Saturday is the K1 500m heat, semi and final and then Sunday is the K2 500m heat semi and final. Each of the three events brings their own set of challenges and excitement.

I am most looking forward to my K1 1000m race along with the K2 500m race. By the end of the weekend, I will know which events I have qualified for. Wish me luck!
